Amber Rose made quite the statement at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, wearing a bodysuit with slut-shaming words like “whore,” “gold digger,” and “slut” painted all over it.

She recently told MTV News: “We just got to a point in our lives where we’re sick of getting ridiculed for loving men and being sexual beings and just being sexy women in general.”

“And we constantly get called these names and now we just got to a point where we don’t give a f–k and we’re embracing all the slut shaming, all the name calling. And hoes be winning.”

Amber Rose is taking it a step further by hosting the “Slut Walk” on October 3rd in Los Angeles.

A word that exploded into a new but disturbing context after a Toronto police officer told a crowd of college women that if they wanted to avoid sexual assault, they shouldn’t dress like sluts.

This sparked a worldwide campaign that outraged men and women across the country. We join the movement on this cause against sexual injustice, victim blaming, derogatory labeling and gender inequality.
