A Shaolin Monk Breaks The Record For Walking On Water

A Shaolin monk recently ran across 400 feet of thin, plywood boards floating in a reservoir in Quanzhou, China. The boards gave him traction, but alone they weren’t enough to hold his weight. The only way he could keep from falling in the water was to keep moving forward and staying focused.

“People need to trust themselves,” Shi said in a TV interview (as reported by New China TV). “Last year, I failed five times, and I managed to run 118 meters successfully.”
